Ribes rubrum (Currants)

  • 'Imperial' White: Introduced in 1890, this productive variety bares long clusters of sweet, low acid, white fruit. One of the best currants for fresh eating and desserts. Self fertile
  • 'Perfection' Red: Long clusters of relatively large berries ripen to a dark red in early summer. Mildly tart, excellent for eating, jellies, sauces, & cooked desserts. Self pollinating.
